Slaughter – Fly To The Angels

Some folks really want to “Fly Away” … sometimes I really do understand that feeling. But I like this old song by Slaughter better than … fly to the the angels

    Back in High School when this band had their 15 minutes of fame, I had long hair to go along with my guitar-playin’ dream of becoming a rock-star. My friends said I looked like the singer from Slaughter. Since I did not care for the band (preferring much heavier music at the time…Megadeth, Alice in Chains, etc…), I became quite upset by the fact that I looked “glam” and so I went out and cut my hair all off.

    Thanks for sharing the video…it does bring back memories.

    REX! You liked Megadeth and had long hair?!?! My respect for you just sky-rocketed. =o)

    i LOVE Slaughter. i have probably 15 or 20 Slaughter tunes on my MP3 player. And i love jammin this song out on acoustic–the only song on which i attempt to seriously pull off the 80’s hair band falsetto high notes. =o)
