Revolver. One of my favorite albums by the Beatles (but behind Rubber Soul). And Your Bird Can Sing is one of my favorites on the album. Thanks, great video and tribute.

Which goes to show you, some people can sing about anything and make it sound good.
Of course being from the UK those guys knew what they were talking about– I hear their taxes are worse than ours. Imagine.
But that’s another song.

I’m with Bob and Jeanne. Great album, great song. Didn’t George write this one?
Pet peeve: Folks who compare U2 with the Beatles haven’t noticed that about 3.1 of the Beatles went on to careers that are impressive all by themselves. Not so U2.

The Beatles are the greatest without doubt Frank. And yes, GH did write Taxman. Great album too. I don’t think it is as great as St. Pepper but it is one of the truly great.

Umm… so the inability to get along is now a plus?
Are you really going to punish U2 for being able to stay together for 30 years?

U2 has never had its version of Yoko Ono ….

Well, seeing as how I had to Google “U2” just now to find out that a) they’re Irish; b)the guy Bono that Bobby’s always talking about is in the group; c) they started up in the 80’s; and d) they actually sing a song or two that I really like– I don’t guess I’d try to compare them to the Beatles. What basis for comparison would you use, anyway? Perceived talent? Impact on society? Lifestyle? Individual Songs? Lyrics? Music? Entire body of work to date? Fashion sense?
