Thanks. One of the favorites from my youth. Brings back nice memories — we used to go to Pizza Inn, play Pac Man, eat pizza and play Iron Man (among other songs) on the juke box.

Now, this song is played when the Texas Rangers bring in their closer. My 6-yr old son says, hey that’s the song Jack Black sings. I say, huh? — Oh yeah, on Nickelodeon!

Goes to show you how we look at things based on our own experience (or lack thereof). To a much lesser degree that is sort of an example as to why we need to know the Old Testament as you’ve been writing about in your Marcion posts.

I enjoy the site and read often although I haven’t posted much…keep up the great work.

    Shalom,

Oh yeah, Paranoid was the “other” Black Sabbath song on the juke box — which is the intro to Elvis’ Burning Love video you also have recently posted.

    Just another memory… thx.

Yeah Jack Black does sing Iron Man but just not like Ozzy.

Thanks for the encouragement on the Hebrew Bible posts … more are on the way.
