New Book on Living in the Shadow of the Kingdom of God
John Mark Hicks & Bobby Valentine’s new book is now available through Leafwood/ACU Press. The book is a major study of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus living in the “shadows” of the Second Coming . . . in a postmodern age. This book explores the dynamics of the theology of David Lipscomb and James A. Harding, then moves to make contemporary application of that theology. The book is divided into three major sections:

Yeah, I wondered who John Dobbs was talking about when he said post modernism is a myth and people are just going to write about it to make money. LOL!! Looks like a good book.

I talked with Jerry Rushford tonight and he told me that your book would be released at Pepperdine. I will be so lost next week, not being in Malibu.

I knew from your synopis at GCM, I was interested in your book, but looking at the chapters, my desire it peaked more. It sounds great. I wish I was going to be at Pepperdine with the rest of the world! 🙂

Bobby, the “other person” you met in line at Pepperdine w/ Keith Davis was me. But we meet so many people and I may have never even told you my name. I was the one telling John Mark how much his teachings on “the table” had blessed our church and he asked me to email him.
